Legends continued to flow off the Draft board in round three. Along with Texans analyst John Harris, I m drafting an all-time NFL team. The twist: you can only choose one player from each of the 32 franchises. We each have a squad we re constructing, and the choices in
ROUND TWO might surprise you a bit. After those two rounds, each of our rosters was half-complete.
John picked first this round, and we were choosing eight more players apiece. By the time it finished, we had 24 players each, with our final eight to be chosen next week.
JH 17: EDGE/Outside linebacker Von Miller, Denver Broncos - Neither of us had chosen a Bronco yet, and instead of going with quarterback John Elway, he went with Miller. His front seven will feature some young guns with Miller alongside J.J. Watt and Aaron Donald. Miller s 106 career sacks fit in nicely with the aforementioned duo, as well as all-time sack leader Bruce Smith, who s also up front on Harris defense.

FRISCO, Texas Drew Pearson thought he was at The Star recently for a potential real estate meeting with Jerry Jones and Roger Staubach. Since the Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager and Hall of Fame quarterback are business partners, it made all the sense in the world to the former Cowboys wide receiver.
Then came the knock on the door.
Jones asked Pearson if he wouldn t mind answering. On the other side was Pro Football Hall of Fame president David Baker to inform Pearson of his enshrinement into football s hallowed ground in Canton, Ohio.
Pearson is the 20th former Cowboys player, coach or executive to earn Hall of Fame honors. Pearson, who wore No. 88 with Dallas from 1973 to 1983, was the only first-team selection to the All-Decade team of the 1970s who had not been enshrined in the Hall of Fame until now.

Before I start with the remix edition to the mock offseason, I would like to clarify that I am not trying to present what I would do if I was running the team mock, but rather just a potential scenario. By doing so it allows me the freedom to present different FA and draft additions than just regurgitate the guys that I am personally hoping for/commonly seen in mock drafts.
The Giants currently have a 3 year window to be spenders, and any contracts that are signed should be done like the FA last year in which they are shorter deals, or have easy out for the latter years in longer deals. May sound funny to say they have a window now to be spenders when they have very little money currently in CAP space (barring a miracle and the owners putting a pause on the cap due to Covid-19 instead outright slashing the CAP space some 25 million per team).
