Laurence Kilgannon The founder of Good Energy Group is to transition from her role as chief executive and take up a non- executive director position with the company as well as its subsidiary Zap-Map. Juliet Davenport will remain chief executive of the company while the formal process to find a successor is undertaken. The transition was said to be part of the continuing evolution of Good Energy from its roots as a simple green energy provider to a newer world green energy services and mobility as a service provider. Davenport has decided that now is the appropriate time to bring in a new chief executive to take the business forward. The entrepreneur founded Good Energy as a fledgling entrepreneur two decades ago.

The new ‘time of use’ tariff will provide lower cost rates for charging outside of peak times. Developed using market research from EV data provider Zap-Map, the tariff will offer a lower price and longer off-peak charging window. Zap-Map s data provided an in-depth insight on the preferences of EV drivers around charging, allowing Good Energy to develop a product that fits around their lifestyles, it said.
