The fitness influencers are shedding some much-needed light and normalising what for many people is a regular and normal occurrence – bloating. But what about when bloating isn’t normal? ROANOKE RAPIDS â The spirit of Santa is within Craig Ivey this year.
He donated $10,000 to the Union Mission, according to Sabrina Lawson, mission executive director. Ivey gave the amount of $10,000 after he asked Lawson to double the highest individual donation they had received, which was $5,000.
His aim for the giving is Hodgestown, which was his home on Wilkins Street, Lawson said. Now he lives in Florida.
âHe said, âI really want to see kids get a good Christmas in Hodgestown,â â Lawson said. âHis life has changed, he has moved away and wants to give back to his community.â
Ivey also told her to save some of the money for the mission to purchase food, supplies and other needs of the community it serves.

Julie and Jeff Thompson, of Flint, never planned a large wedding.
The couple originally thought they would to get married in the court house but, with the COVID-19 pandemic, they “procrastinated” on the marriage, Jeff Thompson said.
It eventually dawned on them they could hold a very small ceremony at their favorite place Freddie’s, a marijuana dispensary off North Dort Highway in Thetford Township.
“Freddie’s is really one of the friendliest places, so it just seemed fitting,” Jeff Thompson, 58, said. “Why not? It’s 2020. I mean with everything crazy that’s happened this year, why not try something different too?”
