“This law has become more specific in its definition of stunt driving, in order to address a public safety issue,” said Timmins Police Communications Co-ordinator Marc Depatie.
One of the updates states motorists caught driving 40 kilometres or more per hour above the posted speed limit in areas with a less than 80 kilometres per hour limit, are now subject to a stunt driving offence.
