The last time Hanover Barons general manager Zach Leslie was in his team’s dressing room was before the team’s last game of the 2019-20 Provincial Junior Hockey League season.
The league’s 2019-20 playoffs ended early due to the COVID-19 pandemic and no official games have been played since.

“When the (recovery centre) went into the P&H Centre we weren’t allowed in our rooms because they were using it as an entrance for (healthcare workers) and they needed to keep it sanitized, and now that it’s a vaccination centre, (our dressing room) is actually a rest room for the (healthcare workers).”
