A TUAM teenager has received a personal letter from the New Zealand Prime Minister after she made contact with her as part of a Junior Cert religion project.
Kate Connelly, 14, from Cloonthue, wrote to Jacinda Ardern back in May after her teacher set out the assignment that forms the Class Based Assessment (CBA) for the Junior Cert curriculum.
The student at Mercy Secondary School Tuam chose the NZ prime minister as a Person of Commitment and in her email to Ms Ardern she asked what inspired her to the top post in her country’s government.
