When Nikki Seaton was thinking about sending her son Cohen to Hudson College, she took him for a visit day to test out the school and see how he liked it before enrolling.

Kindergarten Round-Up will be held on April 6th and 8th at the Beresford Elementary Commons, located at 209 S. 4th Street. This year we will be offering two sessions each night at 6:00 and 6:45 respectively. Round-up will be a special time for just parents and their in-coming Kindergarten child. The Kindergarten teachers will meet with the kids in their rooms and parents will attend a meeting in the Elementary Commons.

A new school to replace Harry Balfour will rise from a bare parcel of land north of Five Mile Hall over the next two years.
The new school, which will replace the one currently located within the city at 104 Street and108 Avenue in Avondale, was first announced by Adriana LaGrange, Education Minister for the province a year ago.
