Members from Kiwanis Club of Tahoe Sierra and Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe staff The Kiwanis Club of Tahoe Sierra has donated $1000 from their Meat Raffle fundraiser to the Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe s (BGCLT) Building Bright Futures” project. Unable to have its usual in-person fundraiser, the Kiwanis Club teamed up with Overland Meat & Seafood Co. during the pandemic and raffled off a Family Pack of meat and seafood. Proceeds from the raffle went to the building fund. It was a really fun and successful fundraiser”, said Kelly Meyer, president of the Kiwanis Club of Tahoe Sierra. “We are excited to support a local business and donate to the Club at the same time. In this challenging time, we were pressed to do something, anything, that would enable us to continue to serve the South Lake Tahoe community. This fit the bill.”
