The state posted 149 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, bringing Montana’s total to 109,737 confirmed reports.
Of the total cases, 107,075 are recovered and 1,070 remain active. There are 68 people who are now hospitalized out of 5,085 total hospitalizations, according to the state website covid19.mt.gov.
Montana added 12 deaths since Thursday s report, bringing the total to 1,592 fatalities related to the respiratory illness.
To date, there have been 738,970 total doses of COVID-19 vaccine administered in Montana, which is 4,719 more than were reported Thursday. Now, 344,606 residents are fully immunized.
The state has administered 1,321,138 tests for the coronavirus, which is 3,313 more than Thursday.
Cascade County topped the state for new cases Friday and reported 22 new cases. The county now has 169 active cases, 8,642 recoveries and 169 deaths.
