Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo shared some of the things that made their relationship prosper and grow through the years.

Judy Ann shared: “You’ll really never know when you’ll be able to trust again unless you try to trust another person again. Para sa akin, kapag nasaktan ka, part naman ‘yung ng lesson ‘di ba? Sabi nga nila ang importante naman sa bawat moment na masaktan ka at magkamali ka is the lesson behind it.
“So push lang ng push, try lang nang try and then you know, God will really bless you with someone who deserves your love, attention and respect,” she added.

The mv. Kathleen has been tripping tows through the locks between the Lower Mississippi River at Baton Rouge, La., and the bayous that connect to the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (GIWW) for close to 70 years.
For that entire time, the Kathleen has been part of the Businelle Towing family, now in its fifth generation of family leadership.
Their family story, and that of the Kathleen, is one firmly connected to the waterways of south Louisiana and the maritime industry that thrives there.
“I think they started building it in about 1950, and they christened it in 1952,” said John Wayne Businelle, the third-generation, semi-retired owner-operator of Businelle Towing and Pelican Ship Yard & Machine Shop, where the Kathleen was built.

Carol Lynn Smithson Sinsel, 64, of 167 Cole Street, Philippi, went to the feet of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Jan. 12, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.
She is the daughter of Anna Gale Roberts Smithson and the late V.L. “Sonny” Smithson of Belington. She was born Jan. 28, 1956, in Parsons.
She married Steven Hall Sinsel, who has been a wonderful husband and care giver, on Aug. 20, 1977, at the Belington Baptist Church. They had celebrated 43 years of marriage.
Surviving are her daughters, Stephanie Danielle Sinsel and granddog, Neiko, of Morgantown, Bronlyn Nicole Smith and husband, Ben; and her precious granddaughters, Maggie Jade and Mia Kathryn, also of Morgantown.
A celebration of life is from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Walker Funeral Home.
He was born Dec. 17, 1968, in Wadena, Minnesota, to Terry Lloyd and Judy Ann (Matthiesen) Manselle. He grew up on the family farm in rural Deer Creek, where he enjoyed farming with his parents and brothers.
He graduated from Deer Creek High School with the class of 1987.
On Sept. 4, 1987, he married his high school sweetheart, Cynthia âCyndieâ Ann Persons, in Wadena, Minnesota, and they were blessed with three children, Kyle Troy, Eric Lee and Danielle Judy.
During their years in Deer Creek, he was employed at Homecrest in Wadena. He enjoyed raising his children, hunting for everything and anything, fishing, camping, four-wheeling and reloading ammunition.
