Post Office names postmasters contesting election to join board Print

The Post Office has unveiled the six serving postmasters contesting the first election to become a non-executive director on its board.
The move aims to ensure that the experience and interests of 8,000 postmasters are directly reflected in the decisions of the Post Office’s main board.
The postmasters contesting the first election are:
Lee Dearn, postmaster for Sydenham, Belfast, County Antrim.
Mukhtar Goraya, operates two post offices in New Eltham, London, and Rosherville, Kent.
Saf Ismail, operates five post offices in Lancashire – Blackpool Road, Bolton, Heywood, New Hall Lane, Plungington Road – and in Farnworth, Greater Manchester.

Brad Leroi Willis, age 51, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, one count of Criminal Trespassing, and one count of Obscenity. Bond was set at $58,795.00. Willis remains in the VPSO jail.

Crystal Lynn Mitchell, age 50, of Hempstead, Arkansas, was arrested by Agents with the Vernon Parish Narcotics Task Force following a traffic stop at Highway 171 and Jeane Chapel Extenstion. Agents charged Mitchell with one count of Driving on a roadway laned for traffic, one count of Operating a vehicle while license is suspended, one count of Possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic (Methamphetamine), and one count of Obstruction of Justice. Bond was set at $22,031.00. Mitchell remains in the VPSO jail.
