Camden County Woman Found Dead in Her Home Monday Morning Authorities in Camden County are investigating the death of a woman who was found inside her home in Camden Monday morning. Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill Mayer and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez say officers responded to a home on the 1000 block of S. 6th St. in Camden around 8:45 Monday morning for the report of an unresponsive woman. When they arrived, officers found 25-year-old Tonia Yamileth Zavaleta of Camden in an upstairs bedroom with a visible injury to her neck. She was pronounced dead at the scene. On Tuesday, the Camden County Medical Examiner ruled Zavaleta’s cause of death as a stab wound and blunt force trauma to the neck and her manner of death as a homicide.

A man from Camden County has been arrested for possessing and sending images of child sexual exploitation. Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill Mayer and Cherry Hill Police Chief William Monaghan say 18-year-old Matthew Porch of Cherry Hill has been charged with one count of second-degree Distribution of Child Exploitation Material and one count of third-degree Possession of Child Exploitation Material. Detectives from the High-Tech Crimes Unit (HTCU), Cherry Hill Police Department, and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) – Cherry Hill Office as well as the New Jersey State Police Electronics Detection K-9 went to Porch’s home on the unit block of Eddy Lane on April 30. Detectives were led there following a report that someone inside the home was allegedly receiving and distributing sexual images of underage girls.
