⦠Why does a Reeseâs peanut butter cup taste so much better when it is frozen?
⦠Why are the TV stations showing one vaccine needle after the other going into arms? This is ridiculous overkill of what is an unpleasant sight for many who dread shots. Children seeing this onslaught must be shocked and running screaming to Mommy. Cut the shot shots back, please, before we decide to not get one.
⦠Iâve been to Georgia Tech football games and have seen many of their references to âThe Gold Standard of Sportsmanship.â After watching the mid-field handshake (sort of) between Pitt Head Coach Pat Narduzzi and GT Head Coach Geoff Collins it appears the Gold Standard does not apply to him.

Today starts a series that will honor the seniors who gave their best to the Yellow Jackets and have walked across the stage saying “I Got Out.” Obtaining a degree from the prestigious Georgia Institute of Technology is no small feat and to do so as a student-athlete is something special.
We will focus on those who will be departing the team after this year. The NCAA allowed all players an extra year due to the pandemic so a few players may decide to return for an extra season such as Tariq Carpenter and Ryan Johnson have stated.
He doesn’t get that question anymore.
Europe has become a pipeline of Division I recruits and increasingly for schools from the Power Five conferences. Recruits from Germany, Sweden, Finland, Serbia and Ireland signed this week with programs including Washington, TCU, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech and Boston College.
“Having seven or eight kids signing Power Five this year, without having a summer tour, is a really big deal in terms of seeing where football is growing internationally,” said Collier, an Ohio native who runs PPI Recruits in Frankfurt, Germany.

At least 11 Europeans including linemen, a quarterback and a tight end officially accepted scholarship offers on Wednesday to play for Division I schools. A handful more are expected to sign in February, bringing the total in line with last year, no small feat with coronavirus pandemic restrictions.

This article breaks down some details of Tech’s 2021 recruiting class. If you only look at the rankings that don’t consider transfer students then you may think it was a disappointing result. Tech’s class ranks 46th according to 247.com and 43rd according to Rivals.com. However, as the article points out, if you include transfer students, then the Yellow Jackets 2021 class would rank 20th. Understandably, it was difficult for head coach Geoff Collins and his coaching staff to recruit without campus visits and other restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic. But taking that all into consideration, Collins and his staff did a fairly good job in what is only their second full recruiting class.
