Michigan man, missing since October, found dead

LAWRENCE, Mich. A Kalamazoo-area man who vanished in October after visiting friends has been found dead in a wooded area, police said.
Van Buren County Sheriff Daniel Abbott said Monday that the body of Jimmy Green, 45, was found Friday in woods near the village of Lawrence.
Abbott said investigators have found no signs of foul play at this time and are awaiting pathology results regarding a cause and manner of death.

LAWRENCE, Mich. (AP) - A Kalamazoo-area man who vanished in October after visiting friends has been found dead in a wooded area, police said.

Jimmy Green had last been seen in the Village of Lawrence in Van Buren County in mid-October. Family, friends, law enforcement, and volunteers spent countless hours searching for the 45-year-old who was known to suffer from medical issues. Jimmy had been helping a friend with lawn maintenance when he suddenly walked away without saying a word.

LAWRENCE, Mich. â A 45-year-old Parchment man missing since October has been found dead, the Van Buren County Sheriffâs Office announced Monday.
His family has been notified.
Van Buren County police continue to investigate Greenâs death.
Thereâs no evidence to indicate foul play at this time, but investigators are waiting for pathology results regarding cause and manner of death.
Green went missing Oct. 7, 2020 from the Village of Lawrence after visiting with friends in the area.
He was last seen on surveillance camera walking west toward a wooded area on that day.
