A doctor and an elderly woman sustained injuries when their vehicles, a Myvi and a Wira, collided near Lido, Kota Kinabalu, Monday (pic).

Kota Kinabalu: A 27-year-old Perodua Viva driver was injured after being involved in a collision with a lorry along Jalan Lintas, near Iramanis, Monday.
It was learnt that the victim, who was with his six-year-old daughter at the passenger seat, was coming from Kolombong and was about to make a U-turn near Iramanis when the incident occurred at 1.25pm.
The lorry, driven by a man in his 30s, was hit at the rear by the Viva which was tailing it.

As a result, the Viva driver got trapped in his seat and sustained injuries to his leg and body before being extricated by Fire and Rescue personnel.
