Having finally worked out her ‘dementia’ symptoms are due to someone spiking her brandy with diazepam, Kim kicks into scheming minx mode and plots to publicly expose her poisoner by inviting the suspects to a sinister soiree at Home Farm. She announces to the assembled (and baffled) guests she intends to retire and is looking to appoint a successor – hence the heavy Succession vibes in the specially shot publicity image to go with this gloriously camp storyline.

Emmerdale spoilers have revealed the aftermath of the van crash and the subsequent death of Paul is still rippling around the village.

The epic explosion which ended up killing Paul Ashdale is eating at Liv.
Let’s recap: She was in the barn when Jimmy King’s (Nick Miles) haulage truck smashed into it. Paul (Reece Dinsdale) was about to wed Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) and Liv (Isobel Steele) was there trying to get the violent gambling addict to admit he’d been beating his son Vinny (Bradley Johnson).

Aaron tries to do a good deed when he steals back the brooch Mack took from Brenda Walker (Lesley Dunlop) and intends to sneakily return it to its rightful owner. However, the Dingle lad is caught breaking into Pollard’s barn – assuming he’s robbing him, Eric whacks Aaron with a bat and puts him in hospital.
