KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 10): The prosecution in the forfeiture hearing of the police raid at the Pavilion condominium three years ago told the High Court that the RM114.16 million cash sought by Umno and its former president Datuk Seri Najib Razak could not have been the party s money as some of its leaders have denied knowledge of it.
There were statements taken by the police from several Umno leaders, like former secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, and treasurers Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah and Datuk Seri Salleh Said Keruak, denying any knowledge that Najib was supposed to keep the money for the 14th general elections.

A group of Maury County residents gathered along U.S. Highway 31 Saturday to pay tribute to more than 130 local residents who have lost their lives to the coronavirus.
Together, the group worked in unison to create a grid of 131 American flags one for each resident who passed away due to complications of the virus.
Among those remembered were family, friends, employees of the local school district and the county.
Kenny Thomason placed a flag for his 82-year-old father, Houston Thomason, who passed away from the virus in September. It s hard to lose somebody, Thomason said. It s nice that people are doing this in the memory of people who have been lost to it.

Tottenham Court Road in London.
While
it is a bit of a mess, it’s where the road leads that I like. Heading down Tottenham Court Road and into Charing Cross Road, past a run of nondescript Victorian buildings and drab 1970s / 1980s interlopers, the pay-off starts as soon as I spot the spire of St Martin-in-the-Fields. Passing the Edith Cavell statue, my stroll turns into a canter, for on my right is the National Portrait Gallery where I’ll spend the morning.
