The historic Enola Miller house in Summerdale is about to go on the move.
It will be a slow and careful process, and for members of the Historical Society of East Pennsboro Township it is sure to be a nail biter.
The 180-year-old stone house, a historic gem for the township, is going to be transported bodily to a new spot up the road, most likely in early April. The transfer is needed to get it out of the way of a proposed development at its current site at First and Valley streets.
Terre Hill Boy Scout Troop 172 brought home 1st place awards from the 2021 Conestoga River District Pandemic Prep Klondike event held at Camp Mack on Feb. 12 to 14. Part of the PA Dutch Council Boy Scouts of America, a total of 21 patrols participated from 12 different area troops.
Terre Hill had two patrols participating, with the QuarinTeamers taking 1st place overall in the competition with a score of 224, 1st place themed flag and 3rd place for patrol spirit.
The Sanitizer Squad won 1st place for themed sled.

One group of older boys took 1st place out of the 21 patrols and the other was a young group with first time scouts who used it as a learning experience to build on for future years and were told to just do their best and go have some fun, said Troop 172 Assistant Scoutmaster Wayne Koppey.

Green Bay Packers Head Coach has made a choice for his new Defensive Coordinator and it’s 50 year old Joe Barry.
Actually, it’s LaFleur’s second choice as he initially offered the job to 39 year old Jim Leonard, the Defensive Coordinator of the University of Wisconsin Badgers but Leonard turned down the offer following a pair of interviews to return to Madison where he has produced one of the top collegiate defenses in the nation over the past four years.
So it is Barry who will succeed Mike Pettine who’s contract was not renewed after a three year run in Green Bay under both Mike McCarthy and Lafluer for his first two years on the job. Barry and LaFleur were together on Sean McVay’s first coaching staff with the Los Angeles Rams in 2017 when LaFleur was the offensive coordinator and Barry was the assistant Head Coach in charge on linebackers.

After two years of defensive play trending up statistically, Green Bay Packers Head Coach Matt LaFluer has changed course with his defense, declining to retain Mike Pettine as his coordinator and hiring Joe Barry who worked with LaFleur for one year on Sean McVayâs Los Angeles Rams staff in 2017.
Barry, 50, was among nine candidates considered by LaFleur and reportedly wasnât his first choice. University of Wisconsin defensive coordinator Jim Leonard was apparently offered the job after a pair of interviews but turned down the Packers to stay with his alma mater where heâs led the Badgers to top five defensive finishes in nearly every category during his four years of coordinating Wisconsinâs unit.
