PGA of America Broadens Strategic Alliance with Bahia Principe in Dominican Republic

The PGA of America has extended its alliance with Bahia Principe a tourism group of golf courses, hotels and residences, tour operations and other destination services owned by Spain’s Grupo Piñero to now include the Ocean’s 4 Course located in the Dominican Republic.
The course will now be branded “PGA Ocean’s 4” and include a PGA of America Academy. PGA Ocean’s 4 is located within the Playa Nueva Romana tourist residential area on the Southeastern Coast and includes two golf courses, a championship 18-hole course and an executive 9-hole course.

Registration Now Open for Drive, Chip and Putt Qualifiers

The USGA, Masters Tournament and PGA of America announced today that registration for 2021 -2022 Drive, Chip and Putt qualifying is now open on DriveChipandPutt.com.
Local qualifying begins May 1, 2021, and will continue throughout the summer with 330 events in all 50 states for boys and girls, ages 7-15. The full schedule of qualifying events includes 10 notable venues set to host regional qualifiers this fall for participants who advance. KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. (WCSC) - The PGA announced it will limit the number of spectators on site for 2021 PGA Championship in May.
PGA officials will cap the number of fans to approximately 10,000 per day at the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, according to a release.
“We’re excited to welcome spectators back to the PGA Championship this May in a way that is responsible and aligned with current South Carolina health protocols,” PGA of America President Jim Richerson said. “While we wish we could accommodate the sellout crowds who had purchased tickets, the 2021 PGA Championship will be steeped in gratitude as the best players in the world compete on the historic Ocean Course at Kiawah I
