Scotland’s FoundOcean has secured a contract to provide foundation grouting for a 100-turbine offshore wind project in Taiwan.
The contract is expected to create 30 new jobs at the Livingston-based company.
FoundOcean won the contract after receiving financial support from UK Export Finance (UKEF), the UK government’s export credit agency.
UK’s International Trade Minister, Graham Stuart, visited FoundOcean to announce this export contract.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon has been renewed for a further five years, which is reportedly a longer term commitment than what was originally promised to the host by network NBC.
The news comes after Fallon s show drew its 4th lowest ratings ever in January, when he averaged just 1.063 million total viewers.
Meanwhile, Fallon, 46, reached an all-time low in September last year when a dismal 992,000 total viewers tuned in.
It was the first and only time that Fallon s viewership had fallen below a million in Nielsen s final ratings, though that particular show had been delayed due to an NHL Stanley Cup Finals game.

One might have wagered that a musical called “Urinetown” would have a strike or two against it from the start, let alone little chance of reaching Broadway (and pulling in three Tony Awards). It’s a wager that would have been lost, and in fact the show has been embraced by high schools left and right. Currently it’s being tackled by the drama department of Palos Verdes High School, directed by long-time drama instructor Nicole Thompson.
This in itself would be of minimal interest in a non-plague year, except for the technical mastery involved for creating an ensemble production of 21 cast members who each performed their role separately before being edited in a manner where they all seem to be on stage together.
