Industrial recruiters move toward deals, promising nearly 600 new jobs in Clarksville

Clarksville Now CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville’s Industrial Development Board is moving toward completion on two major deals to grow the Corporate Business Park and bring hundreds of jobs to the city. “Project William/Alice” and “Project Distro” represent millions of dollars in investment in the local economy, as well as nearly 600 new jobs. Both projects are going by code names until the deals are approved – that’s standard practice during negotiations with businesses working in competitive environments. Project Alice/William Project William/Alice has been discussed at length by the Clarksville-Montgomery County IDB, the local Economic Development Council and County Commission. The project involves a piece of property in the North Commercial Business Park.
