Jessie Reyez, Ali Gatie, JP Saxe, Tate McRae will perform at the 2021 Juno Awards
Organizers said on Thursday that musicians Jessie Reyez, Ali Gatie, JP Saxe, Tate McRae and William Prince will attend the Juno awards ceremony next month.
Reyez and Gatie both won the Canadian Music Awards for Singer of the Year, while Saxe and McRae competed for Breakthrough Singer of the Year. Gatie will perform with McRae and Saxe will share the stage with songwriter Julia Michaels.The two collaborated in the breakthrough craze in 2020

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Three fatal road collisions have been recorded in the west of the county so far this year.
A meeting of the county joint policing committee heard the incidents took place in Carraroe, Spiddal and Carna.
No fatal road incidents were recorded in county Galway in the same period from January to April last year.
Chair of the JPC councillor Jim Cuddy noted the increase in fatal crashes and extended condolences to the families impacted.
Speaking about the wider region and the general condition of roads in the west of the county, Connemara area councillor Daithí O Cualáin said it was concerning to see the poor state of the R336 and asked the Garda Chief Superintendent if there is any connection with historic fatalties occurring along that road.

Summer time is festival time, particularly in Canada.
People love to get together outdoors with family, friends and friends-to-be to cut loose to live performances in the sun or under starry skies when the weather is inviting. It’s not for no reason that “festival season” is applied to the months of May to August. Folks are so keen to take in such happenings that they often buy tickets for the next year’s event before the present one is even done.
Unless a pandemic comes along, that is.
As many readers are well-aware, a lot of 2020 tickets were being held for the festivals postponed until 2021. Many of those are still being held for 2022 and beyond. But don’t despair.
