Professor AZM Zahid Hossain told reporters outside Evercare Hospital in Dhaka on Friday night that the former prime minister was in a “stable condition”.
“It depends on the government when they will allow her to travel abroad. The hospital’s medical board will take the next decision once we get the approval,” he said, asked whether her health will allow her to fly now.

Khaleda Zia was admitted to Evercare Hospital on Tuesday night for some medical tests after she tested positive for Covid-19 for the second time on April 24.

She was transferred to the CCU from a cabin at the hospital in the afternoon after she complained of breathing difficulties in the morning.
Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, a member of Khaleda’s medical team, said to the reporters outside the hospital that the former prime minister was “breathing normally”.
“The doctors here are collectively conducting tests on her upon consultation with experts at home and abroad. Details will be known later,” he said.

Dhaka, May 3 : Bangladesh Nationalist Party Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia was admitted to the coronary care unit of a private hospital in Dhaka on Monday afternoon, as she was having breathing issues, her personal physician said.
Professor Dr A.Z.M. Zahid Hossain made the announcement.
Khaleda Zia was admitted to a private hospital on April 27 night for some medical tests after she tested positive for Covid-19 for the second time on April 24.
