Welcome to the first MWCConnection roundtable of 2021. We will kick off the off-season of roundtable topics with a familiar question: Who are the 2022 NFL draft prospects from each team?
Zach: For Boise State, the obvious answer is Khalil Shakir. Shakir should be taken in the first two days of the draft. Some other names to keep an eye on would be George Holani (if he declares), John Ojukwu, and Riley Whimpey. I could also see a guy like Scale Igiehon declaring if he has a big season.

Spring football has already started for some Mountain West teams (Air Force) and the rest will start hitting the field in the next month. We are going to spend the next few months previewing each position group and where each team stands. Last week we looked at quarterbacks; this week we are going to take a look at running backs.
The Good:
Air Force
Losing Remsberg will hurt, but if there is one thing we know about Air Force, they will be able to run the ball. The Falcons have a few different quarterbacks that should play a vital role in the run game. Keep an eye out for Brad Roberts; I expect big things from the junior in 2021.

Cyrus Habibi-Likio stood alone on the field following Oregon’s loss to Iowa State in the Fiesta bowl, sadness sweeping over him, tears escaping his eyes.
He couldn’t bring himself to leave. He didn’t want to go into the locker room, remove his uniform and turn the page on the season, and likely his career at Oregon. The crushing weight of pending finality engulfed him.
