National Elections Board (JNE) Chairman Jorge Luis Salas on Tuesday affirmed that the dates set out in the electoral calendar for the 2021 general elections in Peru must be respected. The dates set out in the electoral calendar must be respected, that is the commitment that the JNE and authorities in the country have made, Salas said during the installation ceremony of the Tribunal of Honor of the Electoral Ethical Pact.
The electoral authority hoped that the autonomous work of the Tribunal of Honor would contribute to continue cementing democracy and that public opinion, as well as citizens, would recognize its efforts.
