SIR – Christmas is not cancelled. The date, as always, is December 25. For many it will not be celebrated in the usual way but we are lucky to live in an age when there is radio and television to keep us entertained, and Zoom and other ways to keep in touch. Places of worship will also be open to those who wish to attend them.
It will be different, but at least we in Britain have the freedom to celebrate Christmas or any other religious festival, which is not the case in many countries.
