The Hoptown Hoppers announced today the first three players for the 2021 season. The trio all play at Georgia Highlands College. They are: Patrick Walker-a catcher from Flowery Branch, GA, left handed pitcher Garret Sagro from Cumming, GA and middle infielder Zayd Brannigan of Kennesaw, GA. The Hoppers open the season on June 3rd hosting Full Count Rhythm-the new team in the Ohio Valley League-at Christian County High School’s Colonel Field at 6:30 pm. ELLISVILLE, Miss. (WDAM) - Jones College’s JaKayla Johnson and Daisha “Nunu” Bradford were two of 10 student-athletes to earn WBCA Two-Year College Coaches’ All-America honors, as announced by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association on Tuesday.
The Coaches’ All-America team is comprised of the 10 best players in National Junior College Athletic Association basketball, regardless of position, as chosen by the division’s head coaches.
