Ban on Digital Ads Lifts for Georgia Runoffs, Opening Dark Money Floodgates

Online advertising is opening the floodgates for more money from untraceable sources to pour into the Georgia Senate runoffs as Google and Facebook lift political ad bans that went into effect after polls closed on Nov. 3. Georgia’s Jan. 5 runoff elections will decide whether Democrats or Republicans control the Senate, pitting Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) against Democratic challenger Jon Ossoff and Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) against Raphael Warnock. A primary aim of the bans was to prevent the spread of misinformation about election results. But it also prevented advertisers seeking to influence the Georgia Senate runoffs from buying ads on two of the biggest online platforms.

Raphael Warnock s Pastoral And Political Legacy Is Marked By Abortion Zeal

Georgia Democratic Senate candidate and progressive Rev. Raphael Warnock is one of the most pro-abortion candidates in Georgia’s history. In addition to spouting his radical and progressive beliefs from the pulpit, such as praising communist dictator Fidel Castro, condemning and insulting law enforcement officers, and criticizing Israel as an “apartheid” state, Warnock has openly advocated for the murder of babies for a long time. “Warnock believes in a woman’s right to choose and that it is a decision between her and her doctor not the government,” Warnock’s website states. “He knows the importance of family planning and contraceptive access to achieving fair and equal economic outcomes.”

Can t Decide If Samantha Bee Grinch McConnell Is Better or Worse

Full Frontal With Samantha Bee’s Grinch version of Mitch McConnell is worse than the real one, if only because she went to great lengths to detail, in rhyme, all the awful things about the real Republican Senate Majority Leader and ascribe them to the Grinch version, with the help of Georgia Democratic Senate candidate John Ossoff. So, the storybook monstrosity can only get worse from there, but that’s not saying much about the real Senator Mitch McConnell. right now, and whether or not McConnell gets to  keep making sure nothing gets done for the American people hangs in the balance, with Democrats needing to win

Jon Ossoff s view of the Georgia Senate runoff elections

Jon Ossoff s view of the Georgia Senate runoff elections By Caitlin Huey-Burns One on one with Jon Ossoff Georgia Democratic Senate candidate Jon Ossoff is eager for his rematch against incumbent GOP Senator David Perdue on January 5. Though Perdue won more votes than he did in the November election, falling under half a point short of an outright win over Ossoff, the Georgia Democrat thinks the outcome may be different in the runoff. The general election was split: Democrat Joe Biden ended up winning the state, but Republicans across Georgia and in the two Senate races attracted the most votes. The Republican running in the other race, Senator Kelly Loeffler, attracted fewer votes than the leading Democrat, Reverend Raphael Warnock, but she was competing in a field of 20, and the third-highest vote getter was GOP Representative Doug Collins, who won 20% of the vote.
