Five players were ruled ineligible and according to the ruling, the players have to forfeit their 2020 season, along with the 2021 season.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) -In 2020, the Georgia High School Association sanctioned bass fishing as an official sport. Soon after, the season was effectively ended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On May 8 the first GHSA State Bass Fishing Tournament is set to take place.
Robert Miller said he started fishing as a kid because of his grandpa, and Matthew Gunn said he got into it because of his dad. The two say they’re best friends, and because of that, they make a great team.
CARROLLTON, GA – Carrollton High School literary team member and top debater Alec Siek brought home another state title following this past weekend’s Georgia High School Association state literary championship held at Buford High School.
Alec captured the extemporaneous speaking crown in AAAAAA, repeating his region win last month. Literary is a competition featuring a variety of performing, writing, and speaking competitions. Prior to the literary championship, Alec and fellow senior Patrick Berzsenyi led the CHS debate team to victory in the Georgia Forensic Coaches Association state competition’s public forum finals, resulting in the program’s 11th state title.
