First baseman Luke Voit didn’t make a scheduled start on Tuesday and he’s not starting Wednesday night’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates due to a left knee issue that for now apparently isn’t serious.
“Very minor stuff going on,” manager Aaron Boone said Wednesday morning. “I scratched Luke (from Tuesday’s game against the Tigers in Lakeland, Fla.,) just because he was dealing with a little knee soreness, but I think he’s good to go.”
