Early look at 2022 Las Vegas Raiders free agents - Silver And Black Pride

Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports With the 2021 Las Vegas Raiders’ roster close to being full, it’s a good time to look at their potential 2022 unrestricted free agents. And there are plenty of them. There are 23 players who are entering the last year of their contract with the Raiders who have a strong chance to make the 53-man roster. That’s nearly half the roster! However, there is no need to be overly concerned. The Raiders’ will be in good salary-cap shape next year and there are no top-end free agents on the list. One of the reasons why the Raiders have so many pending free agents next offseason is they signed several players to one-year deals this offseason. We’ll see how those players do this season before knowing if they fit into the Raiders’ plans for 2022.

Elijah Moore: When The Lights Come On, It s Time to Go New York Jets 07 May 2021, 18:56 GMT+10 Jets Second-Round Draft Pick, a Dynamic Playmaker from Ole Miss, Is a Small Guy With Big-Play Ability Jack Bell The Jets third pick No. 34 overall in last week s 2021 NFL Draft, Elijah Moore is a glittering, diminutive wide receiver who was sitting there for the Green & White at the top of the draft on Day 2. We really didn t think Elijah had any chance to make it to us, GM Joe Douglas said. To get a player of his caliber at 34, we had a unique opportunity to add three players [Zach Wilson at No. 2 and Alijah Vera-Tucker trading up to No. 14] who were in the top 25 on our board. All three first-round caliber guys are impact players for us. While you do answer calls [to move down], this was an opportunity we couldn t pass up to take Elijah.

Let’s look at each situation

Early look at the 53

Early look at the 53 By RaiderCode on May 3, 2021, 9:33am PDT + The draft is complete and we ve added some talent. The hope is most of them will make the 53 but that s not always assured. Morgul Raider and I had a good back and forth on my previous post about what the 53 would look like if it were today and I thought I d throw it together in a post so others will comment as well. Offense The offensive line underwent earth shattering change. We trade our best player in about a decade and team leader Rodney Hudson. That s a big loss. We also traded Gabe Jackson, who had been drafted and served his time well here, even though he was overpaid and starting to slip. Trent Brown was traded as well, he s the worst FA signing in a couple decades. What a POS he turned out to be. He leaves Vegas $37M richer. I hope we learned something at least.
