Published July 6, 2021 12:01pm Tropical Depression Emong on Tuesday morning exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), according to PAGASA reported. In its 11 a.m. update, PAGASA said Emong, which left PAR at 9 a.m., has slightly weakened. With the lifting of the wind signal in Batanes, EMONG is no longer directly affecting the country, the state weather bureau said. Based on the forecast track, Emong will continue moving northwestward toward southeastern China and may weaken into a remnant low before it reaches the southeastern coast of southern China. The center of Tropical Depression Emong was estimated based on all available data at 335 km northwest of Itbayat, Batanes, which is already outside PAR(22.5°N, 119.2°E).
