Aiming to simplifying video streaming content discovery, TiVo has entered into what it calls a strategic global partnership with fraud detection and voice developer Pindrop to address what they say are the growing demands for a smarter, more personalised way to engage with entertainment content through voice AI.
Explaining the rationale for their move and market opportunity and consumer need, the partners say that they are responding to a surge in the quantity of new media apps and streaming content. The Friends of Kuemper Ball chair couples gathered Wednesday evening at Santa Maria Winery with staff, administrators and supporters of the Kuemper Catholic School System to announce the theme for their annual fundraising gala as “A Knight to Unite”. The 2021 event is chaired by Lisa and Nick Bowdish, Gina and Tony Badding, Susie and James Heiliger, and Michelle and Jon Heim. Bowdish says the theme pays homage to the resilience of the Kuemper family over the past year.
The Friends of Kuemper Ball will again be hosted at the fieldhouse on Grant Road and is scheduled for the evening of Saturday, May 1. The 2020 event was forced online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but organizers are optimistic they will be able to host an in-person ball this year. According to Bowdish, they are thinking outside the box to ensure all Kuemper supporters have an opportunity to participate safely.
