As of press time Monday, 18 days before the city’s blight lawsuit status conference in Washington County Common Pleas Court, logs and stumps from that tree were still strewn across the yard of the property. Forty-three days after drug paraphernalia within neighboring toddlers’ reach was removed from the front stoop of the top priority blighted structure of the city of Marietta, by city labor, the city lawsuit against the property has a date for a case management conference in Washington County Common Pleas Court, though no trial date has yet been set.

(Nikita Ganovicheff, mylloydminsternow.com) The Canadian Red Cross’ vice-president for Saskatchewan was invited to speak to the Rotary Club of Lloydminster about his transition to the role and the organizations work during the pandemic. Luc Mullinder took the position in November 2020 after spending five years as an ambassador during his time with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and seven years as part of the Red Cross’ philanthropy team. The former defensive end spent eight years with the team and retired with the Roughriders in 2013.

Five winners of the gun raffle were chosen Monday afternoon at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Washington County. A total of 600 tickets were sold at $25 per ticket, said Becca Johnson, executive director. With $3,000 in prizes given away, the club netted $8,000 profit for its gymnasium campaign. Angie Scott, program director and site coordinator, read off each winner as it was picked: ¯ Ron King won the Browning X Bolt Pro S.S. 6.5 CM plus ammo.
