Herb was born Dec. 27, 1935 in Hawk Point, to the late Herbert and Willena Howdescell Bracht, Sr. Visitation will be held on Sunday April 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the College United Methodist Church in Warrenton. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. on Sunday April 25 at the College United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Garden in Wellsville. Herb and Mary were united in marriage on Feb. 27, 1965 and celebrated 56 years of marriage. Herb graduated from Truman State with a teaching degree and went to Warrenton to teach history and became very involved with the school where he eventually taught driver’s education and physical education. He coached junior high sports and was always very proud of his teams. Herb later became an elementary principal and then director of elementary. After 17 y
