District offers webinars on language program
The Del Mar Union School District has scheduled parent information webinars regarding its Spanish Language Immersion Program in kindergarten and first grade. To apply for the program, parents or guardians must attend one of the webinars. All DMUSD students will have equal access to the Spanish Language Immersion Program via a lottery, regardless of a student’s school of residence. Noël Coward was the epitome of style. Fittingly that is the subject of a major exhibition opening at Londonâs Guildhall Art Gallery, containing costumes, set designs, paintings and production photos. Brad Rosenstein, its curator, says Coward is âespecially celebrated for his verbal witâ but that the exhibition âwill remind us that his original productions were also visual feasts for their audiencesâ.
That sounds tempting â but it raises several questions. What, actually, do we mean by style? And how has it changed over the years?
