New Jersey Theatre Alliance Welcomes Diverse Slate of Theatres after Expanding Membership Criteria (MORRISTOWN, NJ) As part of their commitment to increasing equity, inclusion, justice, and access in the theatre field, New Jersey Theatre Alliance, the statewide service organization for professional theatre, has expanded their membership criteria and added 11 new members to their roster.  “We are delighted to welcome these new members into the Alliance,” said John McEwen, Executive Director. “These companies represent an excellent and diverse group of professional theatres, each of which is deeply committed to their local community and to using theatre to build a more empathetic, imaginative, and equitable world. Mr Anthony, the nation s longest-served deputy prime minister who was a key player in the constitutional crisis of 1975 who also took important steps to modernise the then Country Party, died on Sunday aged 90. Former deputy prime minister and Nationals leader Doug Anthony has died at the age of 90. Mr Anthony was leader of the Country Party/National Party for 12 years and deputy prime minister for nine, influencing Coalition policies for much of the 1970s and 1980s. In a statement, Mr Anthony s family said he died peacefully in the Heritage Lodge aged-care home in Murwillumbah, northeast NSW. Although Doug was privileged to serve the people of Australia in high office, he always considered his family to be his greatest legacy and contribution to the world, the family statement said. He was very much a man of the Tweed region, and it is fitting that he should depart this life from within the community that he loved so much.
