A flyer of George Floyd’s toxicology report was discovered pinned on a Black History Month display at Duke University.
The printout, which implied that Floyd passed on due to drug use, was discovered a few days before Derek Chauvin’s trial that was scheduled to start on Monday.
Last May, Floyd’s murder stimulated worldwide protest after Chauvin, a former Minneapolis police officer, knelt on his neck for almost nine minutes.
On Saturday, the flyer was posted to a Black History Month display, commemorating victims of police brutality. The toxicology report, posted with a picture of Floyd, included an inscription that said, “Mix of drugs presents in difficulty breathing! Overdose? Good Man? Use of fake currency is a felony!”
