That was why Southampton City Council voted against the extension and lobbied Eastleigh Borough Council to do the same.
Winchester City Council has also voted against and lobbied Eastleigh. Many Eastleigh residents also face increased noise and pollution and are shocked that the leader of Eastleigh Council seems determined to override the Local Area Committee by getting approval from the full Eastleigh Borough Council which includes councillors who live as far away as Hamble and Chandler’s Ford and that our new MP for Eastleigh has launched a petition for approval.
