We Messed Up
Yeah...this free agency is not going great. The prophet of doom has returned (John Dixon, pretty please talk me off the ledge again). It sure seems like we restructured a bunch of deals, screwing over our cap space for future years, and even Cut Damien - a useful, speedy rotational back - in order to sign Trent Williams. Well, that didn t happen, and now we re in a bit of a pickle.
As far as I can tell, the Chiefs have three big needs; tackle, edge rusher, and wide receiver. So far, the Chiefs have not positioned themselves to address any of them very well. Let s break it down;
The Secular Creed
Black Lives Matter
Women’s Rights Are Human Rights
Transgender Women Are Women
You may have seen signs with some of these messages in your neighborhood. They offer us an all-or-nothing package deal in short, a secular creed.
In this provocative book, Rebecca McLaughlin helps us disentangle the beliefs Christians gladly affirm from those they cannot embrace, and invites us to talk with our neighbors about the things that matter most. Far from opposing love across difference, McLaughlin argues, Christianity is the original source and firmest foundation for true diversity, equality, and life-transforming love.
