© getty Georgia officials said this week that they will take disciplinary action after The Medical Center of Elberton gave teachers early access to the coronavirus vaccine, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. The state will suspend shipments to the hospital until the summer, according to the newspaper.  “In essence, it is because we vaccinated school teachers,” Brooke McDowell, an administrator at the east Georgia hospital said, according to the AJC.  ADVERTISEMENT McDowell warned that the loss of supply will leave locals with few options. “I’m pretty pissed about it because we are a tight-knit community. .
