Photo / Supplied NZ Herald Police have named patched Head Hunters gang member Hone Reihana as a dangerous person believed to be involved in the Head Hunters/Mongols gang shooting in central Auckland last week. Numerous warrants to arrest Reihana, who is known to have connections in Auckland, have been issued for the 27-year-old in relation to firearms and other offences.

They warned that anybody assisting Reihana in evading police could be liable for prosecution. Detective Inspector John Sutton said: Since the incident occurred on 15th April, a dedicated team of detectives from across Tāmaki Makaurau have worked tirelessly to identify those responsible for the incident last Thursday morning, which we know involved individuals from the Head Hunters and Mongols organised crime groups .
