News-Press reports, DeSantis is urging the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to create a new system operating manual for Lake Okeechobee with a focus on sending water south during the winter dry season in order to create more capacity during the rainy season.

Gretchen Whitmer that the operator warned could lead to fuel disruptions similar to those resulting from a cyberattack on an East Coast system.
The company and its supporters say doing so would risk the same fuel disruptions experienced on the East Coast following a cyberattack against a pipeline there.

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (AP) An Upper Midwestern oil pipeline continued operating on Wednesday, despite a shutdown demand from Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer that the operator warned could lead to fuel disruptions similar to those resulting from a cyberattack on an East Coast system.

WASHINGTON - Political brinksmanship in Michigan risks allowing Enbridge Inc. to abandon plans for a $500-million tunnel that would protect an ecologically sensitive Great Lakes waterway from the controversial Line 5 pipeline, business leaders warned Wednesday.
