Free anti-theft kits for Bromsgrove homes | Bromsgrove Advertiser

NEARLY 1,000 homes in Bromsgrove have been provided with Smart Water Kits in a new crime fighting initiative. The kits, also known as forensic markers, contain a traceable liquid that can be used to mark possessions which deter thieves and reduces burglaries. Bromsgrove Councillor Kyle Daisley, working with the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), John Campion, arranged for 850 homes in Aston Fields to get the kits. And he says the scheme can be rolled out to other areas to help tackle crime. Councillor Daisley, 23, who represents Bromsgrove South on Worcestershire County Council, said “Smart water is a fantastic scheme and something I am very pleased to provide to residents.
