John Cone & Jason Jordan Receiving High Praise Backstage In WWE );
According to a report from Pwinsider, John Cone and Jason Jordan have been getting a lot of praise for their new backstage roles in WWE. We reported back in April that Cone took over the #2 position in the talent relations department following Mark Carrano’s firing. Jordan is currently the lead producer, while John Laurinaitis is the head of the talent relations department.
With that being said, Cone and Jordan have been impressing a lot of people backstage. According to reports, Cone is very well liked among the talent so far. Several new non-wrestling personnel have also been added to the staff in the talent relations department.

WWE continues to restructure its talent relations department, giving a promotion to John Cone while promoting Jason Jordan within the TV side of the company.
First reported by PWInsider, Cone, also a referee, has gone from being relieved of his senior manager duties to now being second in command to John Laurinaitis in the department.
They reported that Jordan has been promoted to Lead Producer at WWE TV tapings, taking over Laurinaitis former role. Dave Meltzer confirmed the promotion. After recovering from a career-threatening neck injury and surgery in 2018, Jordan began working backstage in a producer role.
PWInsider also reported that WWE has added some personnel to the department and that Adam Pearce has also moved up the ladder in recent weeks, but didn t have the specifics.

The restructuring of WWE’s talent relations department is continuing to unfold behind the scenes. Referee John Cone, has now gone from being terminated last week to being brought back into the fold in talent relations. Cone is now second in command under John Laurinaitis in talent relations.
Jason Jordan has also been promoted to lead produicer at WWE TV tapings, which is the role that Laurinaitis held before taking over talent relations. Jordan transitioned from being a wrestler to a role behind the scenes after recovering from both a career-threatening neck injury and surgery in 2018.
Latest On Changes To WWE Talent Relations Department, Jason Jordanâs New Role );
WWE has been making changes to the Talent Relations department and other departments as part of WWE President Nick Khan’s re-tooling of the company on the corporate end.
John Cone is now second in command to John Laurinaitis in that department. There have been at least 1-2 others added to that department. );
Jason Jordan has been given a new role and larger responsibilities as he has taken over Laurinaitis’ former role as Lead Producer. Jordan is overseeing all the others at TV tapings.
Adam Pearce has moved up within the company over the last several weeks, but thereâs no word yet on that role.
