WWE Departure Already Rescinded, Nick Khan Reportedly Has Major Plans For WWE

Longtime WWE referee John Cone is already back with the company in the Talent Relations department.
It was reported on Thursday that Cone has been released from his job as Senior Manager of the Talent Relations department as a part of the latest shake-up with John Laurinaitis taking back control of the department. It was reported then that Cone would remain with the company as a referee.
In an update, PWInsider reports that Cone’s termination from the Talent Relations department has been rescinded. He is already back with the company as Senior Manager of Talent Relations, under Laurinaitis.
As previously reported, WWE had reportedly removed John Cone from his position of his position as Senior Manager of Talent Relations as part of several noteworthy moves in its non-talent departments. However, it seems WWE has changed its mind.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Cone’s termination as the Senior Manager of Talent Relations has been rescinded, and he is already back working in his role within the department. It’s worth mentioning that Mick Foley was outspoken on Cone’s termination and took to Twitter to express his thoughts.
Cone, who is also a referee for the company, works under John Laurinaitis in talent relations after the latter recently made his return to WWE. PWInsider reported yesterday that Nicole Zeoli, who had been Director of Talent Relations since 2018, was no longer with the company.
One of the major stories heading into last weekend’s Elimination Chamber pay per view was Cesaro entering the Chamber match with a chance to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship for the first time in his career. Unfortunately for Cesaro, those plans didn’t come into fruition and now his Road to WrestleMania remains uncertain. He said the big catalyst for this new version of Cesaro came when he started to become himself and show his heart on his sleeve.

On who he wants to face at WrestleMania 37: “I’m extremely excited because I think we’re gonna have fans back. So, that’s a big deal because I think I created some momentum going into WrestleMania, and as sad as I am that I didn’t win Elimination Chamber, when I win a big title, I would want the fans to be there to share that moment. So, to me, a singles match at WrestleMania would mean a really lot to me. Here’s the thing, though – the locker room is full of people that I would love to have a match with. The thing is to have a match people are invested in. Me and Seth Rollins started doing something on SmackDown, so maybe there’s something there.
