Jarrett earned his bachelor’s degree in English from Princeton in 1997. He has a long career as an influential academic administrator, professor and scholar of African American literary studies.

The tagline for the film is He only came in for a pint , and it s billed as a kinetic and atmospheric short thriller in which Christiansen faces a life and death situation after getting trapped in the gents. A synopsis seen by the Croydon Guardian reads: Paul Strachan only came for a pint. Stuck in the toilet stall with a dead gangster next door, two urgent knocks on the only door in or out, prompt a desperate dash to escape .
