Neponset AmLegion plan another busy year

Dec. 5 began with a monthly meeting and the election of 2021 officers.
The officers are: Gary Miller, commander; Rodney Bennett, adjutant; Dick Wells, chaplain; Jon Pickering, special projects; Dave Mueller, Sons of American Legion (SAL) commander; and Justin Stabler, SAL Adjutant.
The Neponset chapter has been recognized as one of the best posts in the state. This has been by providing veteran fellowship and focused events for the larger community. Even with the Covid-19 pandemic, Post 875 held Memorial Day, July 4th and Veteran’s Day celebrations; four gun raffles; burial honor guards; a fishing tournament; and even presented a veteran’s tribute at Psycho Silo in Sheffield that included a bagpipe player.
