Human remains found in Shawnee identified as person reported missing in 2015, police say Share Updated: 12:14 PM CDT Apr 6, 2021 KOCO Staff Share Updated: 12:14 PM CDT Apr 6, 2021 KOCO Staff Human remains found in Shawnee have been identified as a person who was reported missing in 2015, according to police.Officers said they responded on March 15 to a wooded area just south of Independence and Brangus on a report of what appeared to be human bones. Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the Medical Examiner responded to the scene to assist, police said. The Medical Examiner is still investigating the manner of death, but has identified the bones are those of John Ayers, who was reported missing in 2015, according to police.

PHOTO/SUPPLIED A Royal Australian Air Force [RAAF] C-130J Hercules will make return trips across the Tasman for this year’s Wings Over Wairarapa Air Festival at the Hood Aerodrome in Masterton this weekend. The RAAF Hercules participated in the flying display practice day yesterday and will participate the air display today. The RAAF Hercules will conduct an “initial and pitch” before the crowds at Hood Aerodrome before approaching the runway for a full-stop landing. The RAAF crew will then reverse their Hercules back along the runway, and then take off for the return flight to Australia.
