Fans will have to wait another year to enjoy Country On The Bay.
Organizers made the decision to post-pone the festival to July 22-24 2022, citing the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and government recommendations.
The inaugural event was scheduled to take place in 2020 at Marina Park.
“We continue to work with government authorities but the uncertainty of restrictions for events in 2021 presents too large of a risk,” said David Allen of Red Neck Productions.
Rob Waloschuk of Dauphin’s CountryFest went onto note: “We are confident our customers will bring boatloads of enthusiasm with them when the anchor drops at Marina Park for Country On The Bay in 2022.”
